The Wayne State College women's rugby season has come to an end.
The Wildcats once again made the National Collegiate Rugby Championship Tournament, and traveled to St Louis, Mo. for the Round of 16. After beating the 14th ranked Minnesota State University Morehead Dragons in the Round of 16 on Saturday, Nov. 11, the Wildcats fell to the 8th ranked University of Wisconsin-Platteville Pioneers 44-10 on Sunday, Nov. 12 in the Round of 8.
The Wildcats end their first season under Head Coach Bryn Chivers at 4-3 overall. Their season saw them play lots of tough competition, including a Division I program in Southern Nazarene University and the Omaha Goats Rugby Club.
