Women's Wrestling competes at Colorado State Invitational

| By:
On Saturday, Nov. 2, the Wayne State College women's wrestling team traveled to Fort Collins, Colorado to compete in the Colorado State Invitational. This marked the club's first ever competition.
The Wildcats earned a second place finish with a 7-3 overall record. Cloe Mandel and Ava Culver each brought home a second place finish and Reagan Maas earned a fourth place finish.
"I am very happy with the way this weekend went," Maas said. "I feel that it was a perfect first-time tournament for the girls team and any other first-time competitors on the team. Now we know what to work on for next time and work toward those goals."
The women's wrestling team is back in action Saturday, Nov. 16 at the University of North Texas in Denton, TX.
