Women's Rugby Heading to Houston, Wildcats Qualify for Nationals

    The Wayne State College Women's Rugby team has qualified yet again for the National Collegiate Rugby Division II Nationals after they beat the Texas A&M University-San Antonio Jaguars by a score of 48-10 on Saturday, Nov. 12. The game was held at the Wayne Rugby Park in Wayne, Nebraska. The women will travel to Houston, Texas for Nationals and will try to earn the Wildcats their 14th National Championship.   
   The Wildcats will play the Marquette University Golden Eagles at 2 PM on Dec. 3 at AVEVE Stadium in Houston. The winner will play the winner of the other semifinal matchup between the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds and the Roger Williams University Hawks.
    The Golden Eagles were ranked number one in the latest NCR Coaches' Poll, while Wayne State is at second.
