WSC's Valorant squad played their 7th match of the season Monday vs Concordia St. Paul. This 3 map series was a battle from start to finish, beginning with a close match on Icebox. After reaching match point awfully fast, falling to 5-12, WSC began a strong comeback and fell just short of overtime, losing Icebox 10-13. On map 2, Pearl, WSC again shows their strength on the newer maps and returns the 13-10 favor. Going into map 3, we were pleasantly surprised to see old reliable, Split. Many players were happy to see Split return to map rotation because of how established the map has been since beta. WSC started off strong, taking the offensive half 8-4. With offense often being the easier side on Split, WSC was in a strong position to finish the match out. However, CSP's slow, methodical approach to offense gave viewers scary flashbacks to the Astra ran valorant lobbies that put them to sleep. WSC falls 9-13 on Split and falls to 3-4 on the season. 

Be ready for Val House to bring it back around next week.
