The Wayne State College men's rugby team matched up with the Iowa Central Community College Tritons in Fort Dodge, Iowa this past Sunday. The Wildcats fell short to the Tritons by a final score of 19-7. These two sides matched up against each other earlier in the year in Wayne, Nebraska. That matchup saw the Tritons also come out victorious with a 36-5 win.
The Wildcats and Tritons also competed in a B side match, a match that the Wildcats won in a low scoring affair, 7-0.
The Wildcats are back in action this Saturday, September 30, as they travel to Iowa City, Iowa to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes. The game is slated for an 11 A.M. start.
