Wayne State College concluded its inaugural season in College Rugby Association of America Division 1AA competition ranked No. 10 nationally, despite missing the postseason. The Wildcats fell short of the top two spots in the Heart of America North Division after close losses to No. 3 Iowa (17-30) and No. 2 Iowa State (22-36).
