The Wayne State College men's rugby team traveled to Chicago, IL to take on the Xavier Musketeers in the Round of 32. The Wildcats came away with a commanding 61-3 win on Saturday, Nov. 16, en route to the Round of 16.
The Wildcats dominated the game from start to finish as the previously unbeaten Musketeers suffered their first loss in blowout fashion. The win pushes WSC to a 5-1 record on the season.
WSC travels to St. Louis, Missouri on Saturday, Nov. 23, and Sunday, Nov. 24, to make their push towards the Final Four in Houston. The Wildcats will play the No. 17 University of St. Thomas Tommies on the Round of 16 on Saturday at 1 p.m. If they win, they will match up with the winner of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Blugolds and Slippery Rock. That game will take place on Sunday. Both games will be played at the Forest park Complex in St. Louis.
