Wildcat Fights For #1 Seed.
Wayne State College JV League of Legends team swept their division going 6 - 0 going into the last week of the round robin. WSC will fight for their number 1 spot against the #2 seed Bison White March 17th at 9p.m. LOL JV has won 12 total games throughout the 6 matches. Each game series is a best of 3, and Wildcat Esports has only dropped 2 games during all 6 matches. LOL JV will make their playoff run as the #1 seed with a win or loss, being so far ahead of the competition they've secured the #1 seed. LOL Varsity is 5th so far in their division with 2 games left in the regular season to shake up the standings.
Valorant also secured the number 1 seed in their respective bracket, and utterly dominated the competition. Wildcat Valorant has yet to lose a single map throughout each week and will enter the playoffs with a flawless 8 - 0. With matches being a best of 3, WSC has shown no weaknesses in the regular season and is ready for playoffs.
Super Smash Bro's Ultimate has ended their season 5 - 2, which barely scrapes out the number 3 seed. SWOSU Blue and OCCC Esports, the 1 and 2 teams, are both 6 - 0 this season. Both losses were at the hands of the undefeated 1 and 2 seed earlier in the season.
Overwatch JV has one game remaining in the season, hoping to hoist the number 2 seed at the end of the regular season. The leader of their division, 7 - 0, OKCU White and number 3 seed ECU Tiger Jakku, 4 - 2, sandwich the wildcats and their 5 - 1 record. Tune in March 21st at 7:30 p.m. for the final match of the OW JV regular season. Overwatch Varsity is currently the number 4 seed, but don't count them out yet. WSC Rocket League fights to hold their position as the number 2 seed on Wednesday, March 20th. The 4 - 1 Wildcats take on the 3 - 2 UCO Bronchos at 6 p.m, with a loss for WSC dropping them to third in the standings, and a win contesting the position of #1 seed.
Call of Duty will fight for the number 2 seed this week, playing against retired professional and challengers players. MajorManiak a former player on Boston Breach during the days of Modern Warfare 3, and Temp, a former pro player. Temp played on Vegas Legion during the 2023 season and has stayed active since then in challengers. CoD enters their final match of the season with a 3 - 2 record.
