Spring Season Cap Off... Nationals Around The Corner

Valorant concludes their post season run April 7th, and are set to take on #3 Buena Vista at 7 p.m. Head Coach Drew Kurtenbach hopes the post season continues to be flawless after a 2 - 0 win over UW-Eau Claire. WSC also swept #4 Arkansas State-Mountain Home Trailblazers in the Semi Finals match. 

Super Smash Brothers Ultimate finds themselves playing for the bronze medal following a loss to #2 Southwestern Oklahoma State University. During the quarterfinal match, WSC SSBU took a commanding 2-0 victory over the #6 seed Rogers State. 

Wildcat League of Legends JV finished their season on the wrong end of an upset, losing 0-2 against the #7 seed College of Eastern Idaho. 

Overwatch Varsity plays their semi final match April 8th, against Doane Tigers. Coming off a 3-2 win against the #6 seed Washtenaw Community College. 

Overwatch JV began the post season as the #2 seed, beating the number 6 seed in the Quarter Finals 3 - 2 in a match with several overtime plays. Capping off the season with a loss against #4 Midway, securing the third place and bronze medal. 

Rocket League finishes their season in 4th, following a loss to #6 Universty of Texas-Dallas. To make it to the bronze medal match, WSC RL first beat #5 NMSU Aggies 3 - 1, followed by a hard 2 -3 loss against Texas A&M. 

UPCOMING
Northern Rift is the weekend of April 12th, with WSC traveling to Mankato to compete in Valorant, SSBU, and RL. Taking on South West Minnesota State, Concordia St. Paul, St. Cloud State, and Mankato. Watch all the action all weekend long, matches will be streamed on Minnestota State Mankato on Twitch.
