Rocket League Qualifies to LAN in the Bye Blue Light Nittany Invitational

Wayne State College's Rocket League team participated in the Bye Blue Light Nittany Invitational hosted by Penn State University. 

In the pool play rounds, Wayne State College faced a series of matches. They started with a loss against Penn State University with a score of 0-3. They then managed to secure a victory against Landmark College with a score of 3-0. In their third pool play match, they faced Brewton-Parker College and narrowly lost with a score of 2-3.

Moving on to bracket play, Wayne State College encountered the University of Akron in the Round of 16. They won the match with a score of 3-0. However, they faced defeat in the Quarterfinals against Michigan State University with a score of 2-3. Transitioning to the Lower Bracket Round of 12, Wayne State College managed to secure a victory against the University of Arizona with a score of 3-1, securing their spot at the LAN. Their final match in the Lower Bracket Quarterfinals was met with defeat against Ohio State University with a score of 1-3.

The Wildcats will venture out to Bryce Jordan Center in University Park, PA on March 23 to compete in the LAN tournament featuring the final eight contestant. The tournament bracket and info is to be determined.
