Disc Golf Travels to Manhattan to Compete in Kansas Collegiate Tour

The Wayne State College disc golf team traveled to Manhattan, Kansas to compete in the Kansas Collegiate Disc Golf Tour.

During the individual round, the Wildcats had two groups of four players compete across two different divisions. In the MA1 division, Byron Carrera tied for 19th with a score of +5, Chris Ulrich tied for 25th with a +8, and Braden Ehlers and Caleb Jenkinson both tied for 31st, finishing at +10. In the MA2 division, Blake Austin tied for 7th with a +8, Blake Rutten threw a +14, tying for 13th, Benton Schafer placed 18th with a +19, and Ryland Stephens placed 20th with a +23.

The team round saw the MA1 group finish 8th out of nine team with a +14 and the MA2 group finished 3rd out of six teams with a +21.

The Wildcats hit the course again from Saturday, Mar. 2 to Sunday, Mar. 3 at the Mid-American Regional Championship in Emporia, Kansas.
